Stubborn Demon(s)

Hello All,

I could easily write several thousand words or more about the struggle I've endured over the past year with demons. At one point, it felt as if I was being stung all over my body. I was frequently molested and tormented. I felt helpless and hopeless and was in great despair. But, praise Christ Jesus, I have never been forsaken, and the Holy Spirit has gently led me through this trial - even during the times of my anger towards God for my situation. God is love (1 John 4:16). The devil attempts to convince you otherwise, but he's just a liar. If you believe that God is either against you or just does not care (a lie of the devil) then you are probably going to have difficulties receiving/maintaining deliverance.

Having said that, I am still in a battle with one or more stubborn demons. Due to numerous visits with deliverance ministers, as well as frequent self-deliverance sessions, I have been delivered from many evil spirits; but there is at least one that remains. I have renounced, rebuked, and repented of everything that I can think of. The curses and soul ties have been broken. I have thrown in the trash jewelry, books, videos, dvds, CDs and anything that rubbed me the wrong way. My garbage man probably loves me. I feel that this sorry demon is just lying to me about some of these things as an excuse to not leave. I thoroughly reject anymore excuses - this demon has zero permissions here and it has to leave! It has even confessed that it does not have any right to be here. I'm going to see another minister tomorrow to hopefully end this ordeal. Please pray that I'll receive full deliverance - this is what I am expecting. Praise God!

In addition to all of this, I believe the severity of my problem was largely caused by my involvement with a new-age "spiritual" healing program called the Mankind Project (New Warriors). I completely renounce my involvement with them and I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from them. I ignorantly participated in pagan rituals and worshipped spirits that were not of Jesus Christ. Be advised, the devil does not play fair. Just because you do something in ignorance does not mean that it was okay.

My dear brother (or sister) in Christ, I will pray for your upcoming deliverance. Sometimes demons are very persistent and so we need to follow up with being persistent with them! I have a short post on this in the blog:

This morning we had a deliverance going on here, and the spirit did not leave immidately, but after we kept at it, the demon left and the person has been glowing all day since they were set free!

UndertheBlood, I most certainly come into agreement with you in the Name of Jesus. The curse has been broken and this demon has no legal right to harrass, intimidate or afflict you, you have repented and are a new creature in Christ. I pray that this deliverance will fully accpomplish the outcome you desire and that Jesus died for, as He became a curse for you and the chastisement for your peace was upon His shoulder. Bind your mind to the mind of Christ and resist the devil, give not place for him , you and Jesus are a majority and the victory will be complete. Insist and command this evil to go and stay from you, and any time it or it's cohorts try to impress you slam the door right on them, they are under your feet.
